The Alarm 2.0 Announce Eddie Macdonald as Lead Singer & Craig Adams Flying in from America for The Awakening Tour

The Alarm 2.0 are proud to announce a truly special run of shows for The Awakening Tour this March, marked by two standout moments in the band’s evolving story: Eddie Macdonald will take centre stage as lead singer, and Craig Adams will fly over from America to guest as bass player.

For these unique performances, Eddie Macdonald steps into the role of Lead Singer, bringing his unmistakable spirit, and deep-rooted co-writer connections to The Alarm’s songs to the forefront. A founding member and lifelong torchbearer for the band’s message, Eddie leading these shows represents a powerful and emotional continuation of The Alarm’s legacy.

Adding further weight and authenticity to the tour, Craig Adams will return to the stage with The Alarm 2.0 after travelling from the United States to join the band as guest bass player. Craig played bass with The Alarm for over 20 years during Mike Peters’ lifetime, and his presence brings a rare sense of history, continuity and musical chemistry.

Together, co-founder Eddie (12 Alarm years), James (25 Alarm years), Smiley (15 Alarm years), are joined by Craig (22 Alarm years) to form a lineup that promises the true sound, power, and emotional force of The Alarm that can only come from decades of shared experience. Dave Blackman (Keyboards) completes the line-up and returns after his Alarm debut at The Lexington, London.

These Awakening Tour shows are more than concerts, they are a celebration of the songs, legacy, brotherhood and friendship - honouring the past while boldly stepping into the future!
